Art has always been my passion and my vocation. I thrive in an art
environment. I am committed to art as an important part of a
healthy individual and society and am dedicated toward bringing them
together.
Education: BFA Montana State University, Bozeman ,MT

Work Experience
As sole proprietor of Studio Backgrounds for 18
years I produced painted backgrounds and specialty art for
advertising and public relations. This included 2 and 3 dimensional
work in many different media. I worked directly with photographers and
advertising agencies. Clients include; Techtronix, Freightliner, Discovery
Channel, Microsoft Nike plus many more.
As treasurer I directed
computerizing our accounting system. I drew up the chart of accounts
and established systems to track income and expences.
At the Oregon Society of Artists I started a workshop
series with a locally owned art supply chain. I created policy and
coordinated facility availability. The program continues to this day
and is an important revenue producer for this art organization.

A letter of recomndation
I highly recommend Steve Kleier. As a chairperson of Portland Fine Arts
Guild who both coordinates and participates in art education for the
Guild, I found that members experienced renewed enthusiasm for this
weekly class thanks to Steve’s expanse of knowledge and his demeanor
(joy) in sharing and teaching the arts. Before we completed his series
of classes, students requested that he return to give them more. He is
one of the few instructors, in my experience, who is able to relate such
detailed material and receive 100% class participation.
